UNOJAH

„Einheit in Vielfalt!“, lautet der Flaggenspruch der Multi- Kulti- Reggae- Weltmusikband „UNOJAH". Inspiriert durch den Sufismus, einer mystischen Strömung des Islam, mixt die Band einen bunten Cocktail aus Reggae, Latin, Pop, Hip Hop, Oriental und Weltmusik mit spirituellen Texten in vielen Sprachen und serviert uns so eine musikalische Hommage an die Vielfalt.

3ALOG setzt sich seit Jahren für den interreligiösen, interkulturellen und interweltanschaulichen Dialog ein. Nun holen wir die Jungs von UNOJAH nach Mannheim - denn gerade in Zeiten wachsender Fremdenfeindlichkeit zeigen sie, dass eine Mischung aus Unterschieden funktionieren kann: Nicht trotz, sondern gerade wegen ihrer Vielfalt entsteht etwas Aufregendes und Neues.

Inspired through sufism, a mystic path of Islam, the band mixes a colorful cocktail of musical styles from all around the globe.
The ingredients are Reggae, Ska, Latin, HipHop, Oriental qasidahs and World music combined with spiritual lyrics in many different languages. A musical homage to diversity!
